After 9 a.m., JWA encourages pickup on the upper Departures roadway when it is less congested than Arrivals. Follow active signs and keep the curb to immediate loading only.

Standard app-based rideshare pickup is on the top levels of A2 and B2, plus the Terminal C parking structure upper level next to ticketing. App rideshare drop-off is allowed at the upper Departures curb. Request the ride after you reach the assigned pickup area so the driver’s pin and your physical location match.

On-site rental cars
Counters are on the Arrivals lower level between Terminals A and B, across from the John Wayne statue. Pick-up and return are on Level 0 of A2 and B2, currently open 5:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m. On-site brands listed by the airport include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Sixt and Thrifty.
OCTA Route 76
Route 76 connects the airport with Huntington Beach and currently operates about 6 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday–Friday. The airport stop is Terminal A, Pillar 2, Arrivals lower level. Check OCTA for the live timetable and fare before relying on it.
Amtrak / Metrolink require a ground transfer
Irvine, Santa Ana and Tustin rail stations are each roughly 10 miles from SNA. There is no rail station inside the terminal, so budget the taxi/rideshare/bus leg separately from train departure time.

Taxi pickup is in the Ground Transportation Center between A and B and at Terminal C near Column 14 on Arrivals. Use the airport’s current taxi page for fare estimation rather than a static downtown price.
