Source Verification and Updates Policy

Human-reviewed airport guidance

Source Verification and Updates Policy

This policy explains how we manually check airport links, phone numbers, addresses, maps, parking pages, terminal information and official travel resources before and after publication.

Official-source priority Manual link checks U.S. airport focus Travel-safety disclaimers

Manual source verification matters

Airport information is useful only when it is current enough to help a traveller make better decisions. A wrong parking link, outdated terminal note, old rental-car address or incorrect airport map can waste time and create stress. That is why our publishing workflow gives strong priority to official airport and government sources, then applies human review before the final guide is published.

We do not claim that every airport detail will remain unchanged after publication. Airports are operational environments. They update parking lots, change pick-up zones, move airline counters, rename terminals, adjust maps, revise shuttle operations and publish temporary construction instructions. Our responsibility is to check carefully, explain clearly and update pages when credible corrections are found.

Verification workflow

1

Collect official airport, FAA, TSA, DOT, transit and airline sources.

2

Check whether links open and match the airport/topic being covered.

3

Review phone numbers, addresses, maps, parking pages and service notes.

4

Publish with clear official-source links and change-risk warnings.

How updates are handled

When a reader reports a changed detail, our team checks the report against official or high-trust sources. If the update is confirmed, the page may be revised. If the source is unclear, we may add a note telling users to verify directly with the airport or airline. If a topic is highly time-sensitive, we avoid making strong claims and direct users to the official live resource.

Examples we update

Broken official links, changed airport web pages, new terminal maps, revised parking pages, changed shuttle routes, accessibility page updates and airport contact changes.

Examples we do not guarantee

Live gate assignments, real-time delays, exact security wait times, parking availability, airline disruptions, weather events, live road closures or same-day operational changes.

Editorial note: We use the phrase “manually checked” to describe our internal content review process. It does not mean the information can never change. For travel-critical details, users should always confirm on the official airport or airline website before leaving for the airport.
